History
"A massive firm that puts a lot of resources into individual cases and gets consistently fantastic results."
”Founded in 1937 by Sidney Kingsley and Sir David Napley. The firm grew from a litigation and property practice to become best known for its representation on criminal and fraud matters, acting for clients in the 1980s and 90s such as Jeremy Thorpe, Nick Leeson, Ian Maxwell and General Pinochet.
Moving into the new millennium, the firm then expanded its business services sectors, acting on high value merger and acquisition deals such as the purchase of the London Heliport while continuing to act in high profile criminal and regulatory investigations. We have built a high reputation in employment, advising regulators such as the Health Professions Council and acting for Chief Police Officers. Our highly rated clinical negligence team won record damages for a child suffering from cerebral palsy while our family department acted in reported financial and child abduction cases.
